Sustainable Aviation Fuel Coalition Commends Introduction of Securing America’s Fuels Act in U.S. Senate
Washington, D.C. — Today, the Sustainable Aviation Fuel (SAF) Coalition’s Executive Director Alison Graab, issued the following statement after Senators Jerry Moran (R-Kan.), Amy Klobuchar (D-Minn.), Joni Ernst (R-Iowa), and Catherine Cortez Masto (D-Nev.) introduced The Securing America’s Fuels (SAF) Act in the U.S. Senate. The SAF Act restores the full value of the credit for SAF production and extends the entire 45Z tax credit through 2033.
“The SAF Coalition supports Senators Jerry Moran, Amy Klobuchar, Joni Ernst, and Catherine Cortez Masto for their leadership in introducing The Securing America’s Fuels Act. This legislation continues the broad, bipartisan support for SAF in Congress and recognizes its unique ability to fuel America’s energy dominance while supporting American farmers,” said Graab.
She continued, “The SAF Coalition urges Congress to pass this legislation quickly so we can grow America’s rural economies, create new markets for our farmers, and secure a stronger energy future for our nation.”
